This body of work began in the Covid 19 Level 4 Lockdown when I adapted my art practice to using available materials from my daily life. I worked with my food packaging, making a small sculpture everyday.

Despite the circumstances (or because of…), the resulting 35 small sculptures ended up being a joyful and playful exploration of materiality, the elements of sculpture and the act of creativity, which happily, also gave me structure and purpose to my day. However, their material ephemerality and fragility also reflects the time and place of their making.
