These figurative sculptures represent the physical and mental spaces of the ‘everyday human’ exposing layers of being in our day to day lives whilst referencing the rich history of figurative sculpture, and monuments. The monumentality or un-monumentality of this work links both a sculptural investigation along with how the materials used can act as metaphors for emotional states and for the anthropological strata of human-kind/un-kind.
