Still Life’ is made from plaster of Paris casts of the negative spaces of plastic bottles and containers, once used and cast aside into the environment. The shapes are oddly beautiful, tactile and ghostly. This artwork documents the materials of the Anthropocene while also parodying the genre of Still Life.
